Architecture and Engineering Occupations came in second with a share of 13% in Q2 2023, with new job postings dropping by 60% over the previous quarter.
The other prominent autonomous vehicles roles include Management Occupations with a 5% share in Q2 2023, Office and Administrative Support Occupations with a 2% share of new job postings.

The top companies, in terms of number of new job postings tracked by GlobalData, as of Q2 2023 were Jones Lang LaSalle, Arup Group, Black & Veatch, CNH Industrial, and Fugro. Together they accounted for a combined share of 62% of all autonomous vehicles-related new jobs in the construction industry.
Jones Lang LaSalle posted 73 autonomous vehicles-related new jobs in Q2 2023, Arup Group 56 jobs, Black & Veatch 48 jobs, CNH Industrial 45 jobs, and Fugro 15 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
Hiring activity was driven by the US with a 46.72% share of total new job postings, Q2 2023
The largest share of autonomous vehicles-related new job postings in the construction industry in Q2 2023 was in the US with 46.72% followed by Brazil (17.32%) and Canada (11.81%). The share represented by the US was 21 percentage points lower than the 67.84% share it accounted for in Q1 2023.
