Notably, cybersecurity was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q3 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of governance and robotics, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the construction industry, Cummins had the greatest increase in references for cybersecurity in Q3 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 21 cybersecurity-related sentences in the company's filings - 0.7% of all sentences - and remained flat of 0% in Q3 2023 compared with Q3 2022. Stanley Black & Decker’s mentions of cybersecurity rose by 60% to 16 and 3M’s by 13% to 9 and Parker Hannifin’s by 58% to 5 and Honeywell International’s by 50% to 3.
