Dr Martin Herrenknecht, chairman and founder of German TBM manufacturer Herrenknecht AG, has been awarded the first ‘Innovation Prize for Building Industry of Karlsruhe’. The prize was awarded by the Society For Friends of the Institute of Technology and Management in the Building Industry of Karlsruhe University for his professional and entrepreneurial achievements in the market of tunnelling machine technology.
