Although Britain’s construction firms are thriving, most of them feel that the Government has failed to meet its expectations, according to a survey conducted by EMAP Montgomery, the organisers of Interbuild, the construction exhibition held in the NEC, Birmingham, UK, last month.

A survey of 2000 exhibitors showed that the skills shortage is the most pressing concern, followed by contractor registration and dealing with bad debts.
