Bobcat Company, a business unit of Ingersoll-Rand that manufactures compact construction equipment, has purchased Sambron SA, which designs and manufactures hydrostatic telescopic handlers, from the Fayat Group of France. Fayat specialises in the manufacture of telescopic handlers. Bobcat has acquired the Sambron product line and manufacturing plant in France. The Sambron products will join Bobcat’s range of skid-loaders, mini-excavators and attachments.
