The financial specifics of the transaction remain undisclosed.

Firmus AI develops tools for preconstruction design review and risk analysis, using AI to examine 2D PDF drawings for potential design-related risks.
The Nemetschek Group said it plans to integrate Firmus’ AI features into Bluebeam’s review and markup workflows.
These features include early detection of design-related risks, coordination issues across disciplines, and scope discrepancies.
The companies plan to introduce generative AI agents to increase automation in construction operations.

“By joining the Nemetschek Group, we’re placing Firmus’ drawing-first intelligence exactly where millions of AEC [architecture, engineering, and construction] professionals already work.”
Firmus, on its own, is projected to generate annual recurring revenue in the mid-single-digit million euro range by 2026.
Firmus plans to add AI features to Bluebeam’s Overlay and Compare tools.
The aim is to assist with cross-discipline identification and automate the creation of markups, dashboards, and repetitive checks across multiple sheets.
