Skanska has signed a $91m contract with Highline Public Schools for the Pacific Middle School Replacement Project in Des Moines, Washington, US.
This project, included in Skanska’s US order bookings for the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, involves constructing a new three-story facility covering approximately 132,800ft² to accommodate 950 students from the sixth to eighth grades.

The new building will feature around 40 classrooms, administrative spaces, and instructional support areas, replacing the existing Pacific Middle School structures.
Construction began in July 2025, with completion expected by February 2027.
This development marks a significant investment in educational infrastructure in the region.
In addition to this project, Skanska recently entered into a Nkr578m ($56.60m) agreement with The Norwegian Diakonhjem for a new nursing home in Oslo, Norway.
