Galliford Try’s Building London and South East Commercial division has completed the first phase of build-to-rent (BTR) homes at Brent Cross Town in London, UK.
Spanning 180 acres, Brent Cross Town is an £8bn ($10bn) park town by Related Argent and Barnet Council.
The project follows the completion of 281 apartments at Ashley Road in Tottenham Hale.
Designed by Squire & Partners and WCA, with interiors by Conran and Partners, Plot 13, known as ‘The Maple’, includes 249 BTR homes across four blocks, ranging from eight to 16 storeys.
The Maple comprises studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments.
The ground floor features retail and leisure spaces, a large community area, and a shared basement car park.

With the two phases complete, residents will have access to a gym, swimming pool, spa facilities, a pet wash station, and more.
The project will also feature landscaped podium gardens, which will provide green space within the urban environment.
As part of Brent Cross Town’s plan to achieve net-zero carbon status, The Maple is being constructed with an emphasis on sustainable building methods and will also feature modular bathroom pods.
A full carbon life cycle assessment has been carried out to reduce embodied carbon and align with circular economy principles.
Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial managing director Matthew Pool stated: “We are pleased to have successfully completed Plot 13 at Brent Cross Town, a high-quality residential development that reflects our capability in delivering complex, large-scale urban projects.
“This scheme represents another positive milestone in our longstanding partnership with Related Argent, and we are proud to contribute to the continued progression of this significant regeneration project.”
When completed, Brent Cross Town is expected to be one of Europe’s largest regeneration projects and will provide 6,700 homes, three million square feet of office and workspace, and a new high street.
The development will also deliver three redeveloped schools and more than 50 acres of public parks and playing fields.
