Rowner Renewal Partnership has secured approval from Gosport Borough Council in the UK for the third phase of the proposed £145m regeneration scheme for Rowner Estate.
Phase three of the scheme will fill the space between the redevelopment at the south of the site around Howe Road and the new Tesco, retail stores and apartments, which are currently under construction opposite HMS Sultan.

The third phase will feature 175 new homes to be built by Taylor Wimpey, including 23 one and two bedroom apartments and 152 two, three and four bedroom houses.
Out of the total 152 houses, 39 will be affordable homes and the rest will be for private sale.
Plans for phase three also include two pocket parks, which will be accessed from the central avenue to create green community spaces through the centre of the new development.
The Rowner Renewal Partnership is a consortium comprising of First Wessex, home builder Taylor Wimpey Developments and the Homes and Communities Agency, Gosport Borough Council and Hampshire County Council.

By GlobalDataGosport Borough Council leader Mark Hook said that the town houses in the third phase that wrap around the pocket park will complement the homes in the first phase.
"The opening of the retail shops next year will provide much needed local employment and continue the transformation of this area of Gosport," Hook added.
Construction of the new homes is anticipated to start at the beginning of 2013 and consultation for the detailed fourth phase plans will also commence next year.
The project started in 2009 and will be carried out in phases over an eight year period until 2017.
