UK-based house building group Galliford Try has secured four new construction contracts worth £55m in the country.
Under the first contract, Galliford Try will construct a £16.7m China Centre for St Hugh’s College, part of the University of Oxford in England, UK.

The China Centre project will feature an interdisciplinary research centre focused on all aspects of Chinese culture, and will include teaching facilities, a library, catering facilities and 62 study bedrooms for students.
The contract has been partly funded by a £10m donation from the Hong Kong-based Dickson Poon and the centre will carry his name.
The second contract, worth £16.3m, will see Galliford Try construct a new Gainsborough Hotel in Bath for developers YTL.
Upon completion, the hotel will feature 99 bedrooms, a health spa and conference facilities.

By GlobalDataGalliford Try Partnerships has reached financial close on a £20m contract to construct a new Extra Care facility in Stafford on behalf of Staffordshire County Council and The Wrekin Housing Trust.
The project will feature Flexicare apartments, specialist care facilities, a GP surgery and health centre.
Galliford Try has also secured a £5m contract from Gloucestershire County Cricket Club to carry out improvements to the international cricket ground at Nevil Road in Bristol.
Under the deal, Galliford Try will construct a new media centre, conference and banqueting facilities.
As part of the contract, Galliford Try’s housebuilding unit Linden Homes will build 147 new homes on the site.
