The Abu Dhabi City Municipality in the UAE is planning to develop public parks and children playgrounds at Bani Yas city.
Under the plan, the municipality is developing designs for four public parks, whereas four more public parks are already under construction and are expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2017.
The move is part of the government’s vision to increase green areas, gardens and entertainment playgrounds in the region to improve the quality of life in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
As per the plan, the city is also upgrading facilities of the Baniyas Park at East 12 District that has an area of 307,176m².
The four parks under construction are located at East 2-3 on an area of 11,190m², East 5 on 2,035m², East 6-01 on 3,550m² and East 6-04 on an area of 2,704m².
The four new parks in the design stage are located at East 10-A on an area of 5,655m², East 13 on 4,554m², East 2-04 on 6,021m² and East 6-3 on an area of 5,379m².
