The ‘Cube’ office building in Edinburgh, designed by Scottish practice Allan Murray Architects, has been completed.

The 66,000ft², six-storey structure features glazed windows, set onto a natural stone frame and interspersed with internal timber screens.

It also features a five-storey entrance atrium, which accommodates cube-shaped meeting rooms.

The development has roof terraces created by the reduced volume to the upper levels, which offer views out to Calton Hill from the back offices.

The roof terraces and front timber louvres helped the building achieve the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
