The London Development Agency (LDA) has shortlisted seven developers to come up with design proposals for the £22bn regeneration of the Silvertown Quays site in Newham, London.
The LDA and Newham Council will ask the companies to complete their outline proposals for the 50-acre site by 10 October 2011.

A shortlist of developers will then be invited to submit their outline proposals by December 2011.
The shortlisted companies include St George Central London, Development Securities Consortium, Hutchinson Whampoa Properties, Stanhope, The British Land Company and Barratt Developers Consortium, Chelsfield Consortium and DV4.
