Full-service design studio Pophouse has unveiled a new office space in Detroit, Michigan, US, for Rock Ventures and the new command centre of Rock Family of Companies.
Located in the One Campus Martius Building, the 50,000ft² space was transformed to house more than 90 companies and serve as a collaborative hub.

The space is representative of the Rock Ventures and Rock Family of Companies’ investment in the future of the company.
Pophouse incorporated interior, industrial, and environmental graphic design into the space, in collaboration with Whiting-Turner, Ghafari, Mod Interiors and Library Street Collective.
Pophouse founder and creative director Jennifer Gilbert said: “Our plans for the space have been in the works for quite some time – and while other businesses took a pause on what their future workspace would look like over the past year, we went full steam ahead with health and wellbeing at the forefront, and now have a one-of-a-kind office space to show for it.

The lobby in the office space features inlaid custom terrazzo that resembles the flow of Detroit’s city grid system.
Pophouse president Jennifer Janus said: “Our designers employed a research-based design process to create a human-centric headquarters that breaks the mold of the traditional office.”
