A consortium led by UK-based developer Galliard Homes has unveiled revised plans for a 32-storey development beside Chiswick roundabout in west London.
The mixed-use scheme, which will stand next to the M4 flyover in the UK capital, will primarily include residential units and has been designed by Studio Egret West.

Previous developer London and Bath Estates had proposed a plan called ‘Octopus’ for the site, which had to be shelved due to controversies.
The site was then sold to Galliard, which will be developing it along with consortium partner Kim Gottlieb, under the name Starbones.
The new plan proposes construction of 320 new apartments as part of two curving new towers.
Designs for the development also include plans for the construction of a podium structure, rising to five floors to accomodate office and retail space.

By GlobalDataAlong with 50,000ft² of commercial space, the developer has also planned to offer 110 parking spaces and is likely to submit full planning application for the revised scheme before the Hounslow Council by the end of this year, following a public consultation.
The first five floors of the 32-storey building are likely to be used for digital advertising displays.
