Construction work on the $136m Sri City Air Conditioner Manufacturing Facility located in Andhra Pradesh, India commenced in Q2 2022. It was announced in Q3 2021.
The project involves the construction of an air conditioner plant on 30ha of land in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, India.
The project includes the following:
1. Construction of production facility
2. Construction of warehouses
3. Construction of an administrative facility
4. Construction of parking facilities
5. Installation of an air filtration system
6. Installation of machinery
7. Installation of safety and security systems
Construction on the project, spread across 30 hectares, is expected to be completed by Q3 2023.
Owners of the project include Japan-based Daikin Industries.
