The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.87% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.91% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.72% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 6.38% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s construction industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Honeywell International posted 11 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 52.17% over the previous month, followed by CDM Smith with 10 jobs and a 100% growth. Black & Veatch with 9 IT jobs and General Electric with 8 jobs, recorded a 350% growth and a 38.46% decrease, respectively, while Eaton Corporation recorded an increase of 50% with 6 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.92%, down by 13.95% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.69% share, registered an increase of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 13.85% share, down 57.14% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.54%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
