
France’s construction industry registered a 25.9% rise in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 21.75% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.31% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 0.09% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.64% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s construction industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 51.82% in March 2022, registering a 69.05% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 29.56% share, an increase of 179.31% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.76%, registering a 50% rise from February 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.47%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 106.6% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s construction industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Bouygues posted 147 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 167.27% over the previous month, followed by Vinci with 21 jobs and a 10.53% growth. Eiffage with 21 IT jobs and Somfy with 15 jobs, recorded a 90.91% growth and a 15.38% growth, respectively, while Compagnie de Saint-Gobain recorded an increase of 87.5% with 15 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.44%, up by 91.09% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.34% share, registered an increase of 82.76% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.22% share, up 75% over February 2022.
