Ireland-based company Eaton Corporation’s IT hiring declined 5.5% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.43% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 9.33% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.52% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Eaton Corporation IT hiring in August 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Eaton Corporation, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 33.64% in August 2022, and an 11.9% drop over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 28.18% in August 2022, and registered growth of 14.81%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 19.09% in August 2022, a 4.55% drop from July 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Eaton Corporation

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 46.36% share, which marked an 8.93% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 39.09%, registering a 17.31% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 11.82% share and a 13.33% drop over July 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.82% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.91%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 40% share in August 2022, a 12% decline over July 2022. US featured next with a 32.73% share, down 16.28% over the previous month. China recorded a 6.36% share, an increase of 40% compared with July 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Eaton Corporation IT hiring activity in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 49.09%, down by 5.26% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 37.27% share, a decline of 8.89% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.64% share, down 28.57% over July 2022.
