Ireland-based company Eaton Corporation’s IT hiring declined 0.5% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.31% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 10.91% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.33% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Eaton Corporation IT hiring in April 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Eaton Corporation, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 71.65% in April 2022, and a 6.19% drop over March 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 11.81% in April 2022, and registered flat growth. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.09% in April 2022, an 18.18% drop from March 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Eaton Corporation

North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 42.52% share, which marked a 17.39% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 39.37%, registering a 13.79% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.75% share and a 33.33% drop over March 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.57% and a month-on-month decline of 50%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.79%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 34.65% share in April 2022, a 29.41% growth over March 2022. India featured next with a 30.71% share, down 13.33% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.87% share, a decline of 23.08% compared with March 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Eaton Corporation IT hiring activity in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.12%, up by 9.38% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 32.28% share, a decline of 26.79% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.6% share, down 15.79% over March 2022.
