The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.65% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Caterpillar IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Caterpillar, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 54.84% in February 2022, and a 25.93% rise over January 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 19.35% in February 2022, and registered growth of 125%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 10.75% in February 2022, a 33.33% rise from January 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 53.76% share, which marked a 25% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 34.41%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 6.45% share and a 100% rise over January 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 4.3% and a month-on-month increase of 300%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.08%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 52.15% share in February 2022, a 25.97% growth over January 2022. India featured next with a 26.34% share, up 28.95% over the previous month. Brazil recorded a 4.3% share, an increase of 300% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Caterpillar IT hiring activity in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.29%, up by 60.56% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 32.26% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.91% share, down 26.67% over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.54%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
