Space architects will be one of the latest jobs to be created in 20 years time, according to a report.

The foresight report by UK-based Fast Future was commissioned by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills to prepare the UK for meeting the requirements of future economy.

The trends reveal that future needs of pilots, guides, tourists and scientists will grow, increasing the demand of space-based construction.

Sasakawa International Center for Space Architecture in Houston, which is currently working on a few space-related projects such as a greenhouse on Mars, lunar outposts and space exploration vehicles.

Also forecast are new jobs such as a body part maker and weather modification police.

Foster + Partners is currently designing a spaceport in Mexico for Virgin Galactic and tendering for work with the European Space Agency.
