The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) in the UK has criticised Art’otel, a hotel scheme in Hoxton, London.

Designed by Squire & Partners, the 350-room cylindrical hotel will be clad in anodised aluminium, perforated with rectangular holes.

CABE has criticised the poor quality of the project.

The 18-storey scheme was submitted to London’s Hackney Council for planning in November.
