The Arundel Great Court scheme in London, designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Horden Cherry Lee, has received full planning consent.
The 96,450m² mixed-use scheme is being developed by UK-based property developer Land Securities.
The proposed designs will transform the area linking the West End with the City of London to create two new buildings.
Wilkinson Eyre will design the office building block on the north side and a private housing and five-star hotel building to the south, including shops and public spaces at the ground level.
New street Howard Place will separate the north and south sites and will be combined with a new public courtyard.
A new public arcade will serve as a pedestrian access while a large open space at the ground level will serve as a meeting area.
