A casino designed by Paul Steelman, similar to the Beijing’s National Aquatic Centre, has been opened in Jai Alai in Macau, China.
The 32,000m² casino has been developed by SJM and features gaming space over three storeys.
The façade is in blue and red, reminiscent of sea and corals, and is clad in a ETFE membrane resembling multicoloured bubbles.
The Beijing ‘WaterCube‘ was designed for the 2008 Olympic Games.
