Scottish practice Michael Laird Architects has been appointed as masterplanner for the Tamfourhill district of Falkirk, Scotland.

The practice will work on areas in Falkirk Wheel, Antonine Wall and Forth & Clyde Canal.

The mixed-use scheme will include housing, offices and leisure spaces and a ‘Hub’, which comprises an area of units, a hotel, retail and leisure accommodation alongside a new canalside marina.
