The Bishops Place regeneration scheme in London, designed by UK architecture firm Foster + Partners, has received the backing of the London Mayor.
Plans for the 140,000m², £500m site for the mixed-use scheme has been approved by the the local council.
The initial plans, which included demolition of a music venue, were withdrawn.
The new plan will retain the music venue and will feature a 51-storey tower, 241 new homes, offices and a hotel.
