The water sports centre at Crosby Marine Lake in Liverpool, UK, designed by Owen Ellis Architects, has been completed.
The £7.5m structure is naturally ventilated and is clad in cedar with natural stone gabions and a green roof.

The venue features houses, classrooms, changing facilities, a gym, a bar, an outdoor seating area, conference rooms and 14 twin bedrooms.
The venue secured funding from the Sefton Council, the Government Office for the North West, Mersey Waterfront, Sport England, and the Learning and Skills Council.
The building has been custom designed for disabled users, who can use the new jetty constructed with winches to access the lake.
