Construction of the Zuwarah Technological Campus in Tripoli, Libya, is now underway following a green light by the Libyan Government.
Government agency ODAC has appointed Bruesa and IAD to oversee the master plan for the Seventh of April University campus along with ARUP.
Spanish practice Stephene Cottrell / Jérôme Michelangeli will head the IAD team and design the 45ha sustainable campus and its 13 buildings, expected to receive LEED gold certification.
Construction of the campus is expected to be complete within 36 months.
