European practice BDP Architects has been selected to design a 154,000m² mixed-use scheme in Mumbai, India.
The sustainable mixed-use development draws inspiration from the natural geology of the area.
The building makes use of water and greenery for visual appeal and aims to achieve a LEED platinum rating.
The retail-led scheme will feature public spaces and piazzas and a centrally located main mall that will serve as a viewing platform and a second shopping area.
The two malls will be connected by a tree-lined boulevard – a pedestrian link with cafes and food outlets.
The northern block of the scheme features a hotel, and banqueting, residential and leisure spaces, while office space are sited on the eastern phase.
The scheme is expected to be complete by 2013.
