Atelier Tekuto has completed the design of an aluminum-framed private residence in Kanazawa City, Japan.

The house features an aluminum façade and embodies a number of sustainable features that include LED lighting, a green-roof system, rainwater harvesting and solar panels.

Passive solar energy powers the house during winter, while the structure has deep attics to prevent overheating during summer.

The architect says that the development also harnesses geothermal energy.
