A new hotel development, which draws inspiration from Formula 1 and car racing, which was designed by US firm Asymptote Architecture, is complete.

The Yas Hotel development is located near a bridge, from which spectators can view the Grand Prix.

The 85,000m² hotel is curved in design and has a grid-shell made of steel and 5,800 diamond-shaped glass panels.

The hotel has 500 rooms.
