London practice Project Orange has won planning permission for the extension of the Moran Hotel in London, UK.
The approval was given following a public inquiry and three years of negotiations.
The 9,200m² four-storey building will be located behind the current hotel building.
The extension will feature 81 bedrooms, 16 meeting rooms and a banqueting hall under a roof garden. The façade has a ribbed design in white and dark glazed brickwork.
The work is expected to begin in 2010 and is scheduled to be complete by 2011.
