The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) in the UK has affiliated itself with eight other regional review panels to form a new design review network.
The network offers independent design advice to local planning authorities. It has planned to review over 800 schemes annually.
The affiliation comprises of eight panels, made up of different regions including the South East South West North East and the East of England design review panel.
The affiliation is in line with government’s strategy known as World Class Places, which was published in May 2009.
The affiliation aims to provide high standards in design review across England.
