The new owners of North London’s largest private residence, Witanhurst Mansion, are planning to restore and extend the building.

Restoration will involve the demolition of the of the 65-room house service wing and renovation of the front façade and a new orangery building will be constructed.

A new basement with parking for 24 cars, a cinema, wine cellars, a swimming pool, beauty parlours and gyms, has also been included in the extension plans by the London architect Robert Adam.

The Grade II heritage building was designed by George Hubbard and built between 1913 and 1920.
