BDP has been selected to design a new research institute at the University of Exeter in England.

The 3,000m² building will provide the university with a hub for environmental knowledge and world-leading research into climate change, according to BDP.

BDP says it will design a landmark facility to act as a ‘living laboratory’ to test environmental equipment and sustainable solutions.

The new Institute will comprise research laboratories, CT rooms and engineering workshops as well as interactive and flexible learning spaces.

BDP has been appointed as architect, building services engineer and sustainability consultant.
