A study of architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh is underway following investment from the UK’s Arts and Humanities Research Council.

A total of £620,000 will go towards carrying out an in-depth study of Mackintosh’s architecture, basing the study on a combination of archival research, building survey and analysis.

The three-year nine-month research project, ‘Mackintosh Architecture: Context, Making and Meaning’, led by Professor Pamela Robertson will be carried out at the University of Glasgow.
