Dubai-based architect firm X-Architects has come up with plans to turn a 150-acre mixed-use development into completely eco friendly.

Dubbed Zeritown, the development makes up part of Dubailand, a three-billion-square-foot attraction based tourist destination. Currently under construction adjacent to the Emirates Road, Dubailand will include a dinosaur theme park, sports complex and a large shopping centre.

The proposal by X-Architects includes water-conscious landscaping to keep the desert development as cool as possible without excess energy consumption.
