Architecture firms Perkins Ogden and architecture plb have won a tender over Foster + Partners, BDP and Aedas for the building of two school complexes in the borough of Luton in the UK.
The contracts, sponsored by Barnfield Further Education College, are totalled at £43.5m and cover both Barnfield South and Barnfield West Academies.
Both tender winners have been commended for their work on school designs – architecture plb recently worked on a new university facility in the province of Catalonia in Spain and Perkins Ogden on the John F Kennedy School in Hampstead, UK.
