US-based developer VanTrust Real Estate is set to construct the first phase of the $1bn Frisco Station mixed-use project in Texas

The 228,000sq ft class A multi-tenant office building will feature amenities such as structured parking, a fitness centre, a conference centre and a communications and power infrastructure that includes dual power feeds and multiple fibre optic option providers.

It will also have direct access to Frisco Station’s planned entertainment district, known as The Hub, and will also have walkable access to hike and bike trails, along with additional health and wellness options.

The 242-acre mixed-use development located near the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway has HKS appointed as the project architect, and J.E. Dunn Construction as the design-build contractor.

VanTrust Real Estate executive vice president of development Geoff Meyer said: “The Frisco Station Partnership has worked diligently during the past year to create the perfect master plan, and this project brings the newest office tower to Frisco’s latest, burgeoning corridor along the Dallas North Tollway.

“Frisco Station represents a fresh approach to urban design that we believe will set the standard for office development in the corridor.”

Construction work will start in September 2016 and is set to be complete in August 2017.
