Phase 2A of the scheme will involve the construction of 60 new homes for social rent and 31 for private sale. The design and build contract will also have an option to be extended to include Phase 2B.
Upon completion, Portobello Square will provide nearly 1,000 new homes, more than 3,000 sq m of commercial space and 9,000 sq m of public space.

Demolition of the existing buildings is currently under progress. Construction is expected to start in July 2017, while handovers are likely to be concluded by spring 2019.
