The UK construction industry will converge in Birmingham next month, as the UK Construction Week event combines nine shows at the NEC venue from 18–20 October.
The event is organised by Media 10 and follows the inaugural 2015 event, which attracted more than 24,000 trade visitors and 650 exhibitors. This included around 70% of the UK’s top house-building companies, 60% of the top architectural companies, and all of the leading UK construction companies, said the organiser.
The nine shows cover various sectors within the construction industry, and include the Build Show; Energy; HVAC; Civils Expo; Plant & Machinery Live; Smart Buildings; Surface Materials Show; Timber Expo; and Grand Designs Live.
Confirmed exhibitors include JCB, Screwfix, Caterpillar, Tideway Tunnels, Cemex, British Gas, Scottish Power, amongst many others.
As well as providing opportunities for members of the industry to network, the event will also host a comprehensive seminar schedule.
UK Construction Week is also being supported by trade associations including Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Timber Research and Development Association (TRADA), the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF), the Construction Products Association (CPA) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
