Tutor Perini wins $107M Virginia road contract

US-based construction firm Tutor Perini has won a $107M contract for the Route 264 Interchange Improvements Project in Norfolk, Virginia.

The scope of the contract, awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation, will include the widening of the existing I-64/Route 264 Interchange ramp connectors, the construction of four new bridges, a creek realignment and installation of related structures.

Work on the project is in progress and substantial completion is expected by October 2019.
