Real estate firm St. John Properties has broken ground on Valley Grove, a $250m master-planned mixed-use project in Pleasant Grove City, Utah.
Sprawling over a 62-acre site, the project will feature one million square feet of office, retail, and restaurant and hospitality space.
St. John Properties believes that the Valley Grove will generate more than $800m in tax revenue to the state, county and Pleasant Grove, while hosting more than 7,000 employees, over the entire project life.
Once completed, the development will include more than 2,000 trees as well as a range of LEED designed buildings for maximum energy and water savings and minimise negative environmental impact.
St. John Properties chairman and founder Edward St. John said: “We are thrilled with the pro-business climate and warm reception we’ve received in Utah.
“We strive every day to provide places for great companies to grow their businesses, increase employment, generate profits and pay taxes.”
