Oilfield services company SapuraKencana Petroleum has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiaries secured contracts worth about $300M in Malaysia [Kuala Lumpur pictured].
SapuraKencana Subsea Services won a contract for the provision of underwater services for Petronas Carigali (PCSB).
The two-year contract will involve underwater services along with vessels, air and saturation diving, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and other related services, such as inspection, maintenance and repair to support PCSB’s underwater facilities at the offshore waters of Peninsular Malaysia.
SapuraKencana GeoSciences secured a contract from PCSB to provide soil investigation services at the Peninsular Malaysia operation and Sarawak / Sabah operation area. The contract has a one-year term, with an option to extend it for a further one year.
SapuraKencana TL Offshore (SKTLO) won a contract from Hyundai Heavy Industries for offshore installation work of BNCPP-B jacket, foundation piles, and bridge structure between BNCPP-B to BNG-B in East Malaysia. The contract is expected to start in the first quarter of 2017.
SKTLO secured another 12-month contract from Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia for the transportation and installation of pipeline, substructure and topside for Bunga Pakma Development Project.
The project will also involve the transportation and installation of Bunga Pakma, a well-head riser platform comprising jacket, piles, topside, wet gas pipeline and subsea composite cable.
Additionally, SapuraKencana Drilling won a contract from BSP for the provision of its Tender Assist Drilling Rig SKD Alliance. The five-year contract is expected to begin in April 2018, with an option to extend it by another five years.
