SapuraKencana Petroleum secures $97M worth of contracts

Two wholly-owned subsidiaries of Malaysia-based oilfield services company SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad (SKPB) have won contracts worth $97.4M.

SapuraKencana TL Offshore (SKTLO) has won an umbrella contract, having duration of one year, from Petronas for the provision of Pan Malaysia transportation and installation of offshore facilities.

The scope of the work will include the transportation and installation of platform, structures and pipelines, as well as associated works. The contract is scheduled to end in 2018.

SKTLO has been also awarded a five-month contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB) for the provision of engineering, decommissioning, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the Sepat mobile offshore production unit stabilisation and repair works.

SapuraKencana HL (SKHL) secured a 33-month contract from PCSB for the procurement, construction and commissioning of a full well stream air cooler module on central processing platform.

SKHL has also bagged a nine-month contract from PCPP Operating Company for the provision of engineering, preparation, removal and disposal for Dana and D30 facilities decommissioning project.
