Work involved construction of 29km of roads and streets, including sections ranging between 16m and 40m in width, a traffic circle as well as two intersections with traffic lights. The project also included the laying of a 101km sanitation network and construction of five rainwater runoff tanks to prevent flooding.

Over 120,000 metric tonnes of asphalt and 280,000 sq m of paving stones were used during the construction phase.
