RCR Tomlinson wins contract for Australia solar farm

Australia-based engineering firm RCR Tomlinson has secured a contract worth over $80M from Edify Energy and Wirsol Energy for the first phase of the Gannawarra Solar Farm in Victoria, Australia.

RCR Tomlinson will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the solar farm, which includes associated substations as well as grid connection works. The first phase of the facility will deliver 60MWp DC of capacity.

Construction is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2017 and be completed in the first quarter of 2018. Once commissioned, RCR Tomlinson will carry out operation and maintenance services for two years, with a three-year extension option.
