Australia-based construction firm Probuild has been awarded a contract by Greenland Australia to deliver its $300M mixed-use project in Sydney, Australia.
The development, named Omnia, will feature 135 high-end apartments and will be located on the intersection of Darlinghurst Road and Victoria Street, in Potts Point.
The 19-storey building will have two levels of high-end retail and a proposed top-tier restaurant. Omnia will also feature an hour-glass façade, and communal facilities including a landscaped outdoor BBQ area, community garden and residents’ private wine room and lounge.
According to Probuild, the complex’s entire second-storey will be occupied by the Woolworths store, while the third floor will be let out to other specialty retailers.
Greenland Australia managing director Sherwood Luo said: “With Omnia’s unique design and prime corner position it’s bound to become a real focal point in the area, and the distinctive building will become the gateway of Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Luxury will soon have a new address, with construction set to start shortly.
“It’s great to have Probuild on board again with this landmark project. It’s a challenging job, but our project teams will successfully manage this together.”
