Nottinghamshire-based construction company nmcn has been selected by Elevate Property Group to build the first phase of Trent Bridge Quays, a residential development in the UK.

It is the first project for Elevate Property in the East Midlands and is the fourth joint venture with Investin. The project will include the construction of 95 townhouses and apartments on the banks of the River Trent.

First phase of Trent Bridge Quays project includes several three-storey townhouses, all with terraces either to the front or rear and apartments in large blocks flanking the River Trent and Meadow Lane. There will also be retail opportunities with two units in development, nmcn said.

Second phase of the project will be located on the nearby Milk and More yard, which was acquired by Elevate Property in 2017 and will include further 60 homes. Planning details are current being finalised.

Elevate Property Group managing director Steve Dodd said: “Trent Bridge Quays will continue Elevate’s commitment to delivering affordable luxury and we are pleased to be working with nmcn.

“Trent Bridge Quays will kick start the western end of the waterside regeneration and provide some of the best homes available in Nottingham in the coming 18 months.”

nmcn operations director Nick Banks said: “Trent Bridge Quays and the nearby Milk and More site will bring much needed quality housing to Nottingham, and their proximity to West Bridgford and Trent Bridge, and easy access to the city centre, provides a very compelling offer.”

“Trent Bridge Quays will be one of the best located developments in the area, and we are delighted to have been selected by Elevate Property Group to work with their project management team at BACE Construction Consultants in delivering this project.”

The prices of the properties are expected to range from £150,000 ($188,580) for a one-bedroom apartment and townhouses from £325,000 ($408,590).

Prices of three-bedroom penthouse with rooftop garden and views across Nottingham and along the River Trent are available on application, nmcn stated.

In September this year, nmcn and Tiger Developments began construction of 125 homes in Leicester city centre for students at DeMontfort and University of Leicester.

The work will include demolition of the existing two storey, office block built in the 1960s, which will be replaced with part 3 part 4 and part 5 storey building, housing 125 student bedrooms across 20 cluster flats and 3 one-bedroom studio flats.
